Join Us Wednesday Evenings
At Youth Group, we…
- Play air hockey and foosball, eat dinner, tell tall tales, do zany team relays and even zanier art.
- Camp, bake cookies, have beach bonfires, swim, see flicks, and sing really bad Karaoke.
- Serve dinner to homeless citizens at the winter shelter, package starvation kits for Tanzania, and pick out gifts for needy teens at the Copley Y Christmas Party. Get your service hours!
- Practice walking really, really slow like the Magi. That’s for our annual La Posada in Kensington, a tradition in which Mary, Joseph and a live donkey are turned away from Starbucks and Ken Café so we make our way to the church lawn where a manger and a bunch of live animals await the birth of Christ.
Pastor Darryl Kistler and Enrique Dudley lead our Youth Group. Contact Pastor Darryl at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Starting Nov. 12, Children & Youth Gear Up for
“Pageant of the Masters” Christmas Program
In Sunday School starting Nov. 12, the children will begin working on the Children’s Christmas Program — this year devoted to master works of art that tell the Advent story. Don’t miss the casting, music, and script work. Here is the rehearsal schedule
, including two after-church rehearsals, culminating in the Dec. 17, 10 AM performance. Parent volunteers are needed to help with costumes and props on Nov. 12 after worship.
We offer confirmation classes to 6th grade and older students who are interested in learning more about their faith and initiating a faith they call their own. Talk to Marg Stark, Minister of faith programs, if you or your child is interested in Confirmation.
Our Whole Lives Sex Ed Program
This multi-session program is for 7th to 9th graders to promote self-worth, sexual health, responsibility and justice and inclusivity. We offer it every other year, on the off years from Confirmation.
