The Partnership of UCC churches is inviting you to a special Pentecost service.  The story of Pentecost is a story of unity, of celebration, and of hope.  In scripture, Acts 2 tells the story of the Holy Spirit filling the nascent church.  The community of Christ followers were filled with exuberance and awe.  Each year the church celebrates this story on Pentecost.  This year Pentecost falls on May 28 and we decided to have a special hymnsing to celebrate.  Stephen Colon (providing sabbatical coverage at La Mesa) Rev. Mary Sue Brookshire from Pioneer Ocean View, and Brandon have been putting together a special Sunday evening worship service.  There will be a bonfire, great music, and s’mores as we come together with joy.
