This summer, all churches in the United Church of Christ are invited to come together at the 34th General Synod. General Synod is a biennial event wherein church members discuss relevant issues from a faith perspective, learn from workshops and guest speakers, and make decisions on resolutions. One of the speakers this summer is Abram X. Kendi, an author, professor, and founder of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University. In preparation for the General Synod, all UCC church members and friends are invited to join in an all-church read of Prof Kendi’s book, “How to Be an Antiracist“. Pastor Brandon will be reading this book and would welcome questions and conversations about the book.
