What’s New in the Children’s Nursery?

The News

  • This Sunday is the first day for our new Nursery Attendant, Sage Rushing. Please give Sage an abundant welcome! She is a senior at a local high school who enjoys poetry and being of service.

  • Sage will be available on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the nursery to care for infants to three-year-olds. If you haven’t been to the nursery before, please ask a congregant to lead you to the safe and bright little room that has been created with little ones in mind.

What to Expect

  • There are plenty of safe activities to keep your toddler or preschooler busy, including a slide, tool station, kitchen station, playtime with play-doh, and trucks and push-toys.

  • The door to the nursery remains open. A locked child gate in the doorway prevents crawlers and walkers from exploring the hallway.

  • Sage will provide water in individual cups for the children. Should your child have a special sippy cup, please bring it along with snacks, if needed.

  • Please provide instructions and bring a diaper bag and/or potty so that Sage can provide consistency for your little one.
